A relatively new and exceptional product due to its structural light-weight, low mass and high load bearing qualities, corrugated microflute also provides an excellent platform for very high quality lithographic printing. We have designed and produced microflute packaging for a number of leading brands and household names in fast moving consumer goods and other diverse retail sectors.
Used alone or in combination with complementary materials, microflute corrugated board offers a wealth of possibilities for packaging and marketing support for branded products: we can develop packaging that offers a high level of protection without any impact on appearance.

Cellpak Solutions offer a comprehensive range of standard paper board packaging products, including recycled paperboard, these can be adapted to meet your needs or we can produce an original solid board product design individual to you.
We provide flat pack "pop-up" cartons, frozen food packaging, ovenable board products and take away packaging, backing cards for blister packs, four corner glued board boxes and lids, stitched, die-cut and printed board boxes, plus greetings cards and business cards.
We can now also design and manufacture your paper board packaging using fully biodegradable, compostable cardboard. This new solid board product is manufactured using raw material from sustainable sources and is fully recyclable in domestic waste recycling processes. Allowed to compost, the cardboard structure will completely break down in ten weeks leaving only natural trace elements.

Cellpak Solutions are experts in litho-lamination and digital print mounting. If your product or retail environment dictates both high quality printing and high levels of protection, we can produce a composite packaging material that will perform on both counts.
Litho-lamination
For the majority of consumer goods in need of a composite material packaging solution, we recommend litho-lamination. We will select a suitable quality of solid board sheet to be litho printed and varnished in the usual manner. This is then glued to the face surface of a sheet of corrugated microflute in a process called sheet laminating.
For high volume fast moving consumer goods applications such as cosmetics packaging, computer software packaging and mobile phone packaging, we offer sheet lamination using a semi-automated or fully automated corrugated sheet laminator.

Digital print mounting
At Cellpak, we also offer digital print mounting as used for our prototype sampling and packaging mock-ups.
For high value products, in-store displays and promotional packaging, our hand finished digital print mounting service is the ultimate point-of-sale solution. A digitally printed sheet of solid board is glued to a sheet of microflute corrugated board, generally by hand. It can then be die-cut or hand finished to the most exacting requirements.
